James Calcutt

Schools and Colleges Liaison Manager

I have worked in the Schools team for five years in many different roles. My role now is overseeing the team's activities and ensuring that we do all we can to promote Royal Holloway and support students.

I am also a Royal Holloway alumnus, completing my BA and MA in History at Royal Holloway. As a team, we are always looking for the best way to support and inform students, teachers and parents!

Working mainly in the South East, I have worked at Royal Holloway for over 4 years now, in the Schools team and in the Careers Service. I love that I get to help inspire young people to reach their full potential.

One thing I love about Royal Holloway is the lesser known nature areas on our campus. From our floral meadows to our natural ponds, there is beauty everywhere you look and plenty of choice for a nice lunch spot!

Mainly working in North, East and Central London, I love meeting a wide range of students and teachers from all backgrounds. Supporting young people in finding their dream pathways is one of my favourite parts within the role.

Working at Royal Holloway for over a year now has made me fall in love with it's rich history surrounding the campus, in particular the picture gallery!
