Experience university first hand at one of our events, webinars or workshops.
Our tailored campus tours are the perfect way for your students to see what life at our beautiful campus looks like. They'll meet academics and students, explore our facilities and experience taster lectures to discover what university is like.
If you can't make it onto campus, there are still ways to get involved. Maybe you're hosting a higher education fair, or you'd like us to deliver a workshop to students or parents, a member of our team can come to you.
There's also the option to join us online for a series of webinars the team host throughout the year specifically for school and college students, their teachers and supporters.

School campus visits
We offer full and half-day campus visits to school groups in Years 10 and above. During their visit, your students will gain an overview of higher education and a flavour of university life.
Campus visits will vary depending on the size of the group visiting and room availability, but a typical visit will include:
- An academic session (like a subject taster workshop or a lab tour)
- An Information, Advice, and Guidance session (choose from a range of topics including student finance and personal statements)
- A campus tour
- A Q&A with our student ambassadors
To request a campus visit, click the button at the top of this page.
*Please note that our campus visits are subject to availability.
Due to room capacities we have a maximum of 120 per day for visits. If you exceed this number the groups will have to be split over multiple days.

EPQ visit days
If your students are taking the Extended Project Qualification, then our EPQ visit days are the perfect opportunity for them to refine their academic skills and become familiar with a university environment.
Our EPQ visit days offer students the chance to learn integral research skills in an interactive session hosted by our librarians. Students then have supervised use of our university library to put what they've learnt into practice. They'll be able to explore sources and supporting material for their projects while getting an insight into university level facilities.
At Royal Holloway, we recognise the skills and independence students develop when completing the EPQ. If an applicant is taking the programme alongside their A-Levels, we'll take this into consideration and might make them an offer with lower entry requirements. Read more about our contextual offers
These visits are subject to the availability of our staff. To enquire about an EPQ visit please contact us - schools@royalholloway.ac.uk
