We award our scholarships competitively, usually based on your academic achievements, as well as your scholarship statement. Bursaries are awarded to all students who meet the eligibility criteria.

Future Leaders Scholarship
Full tuition fee reduction for three years for Home/EU students
For students with expected grades of AAA at A-level or equivalent and demonstrable leadership skills. Read more here
Sanctuary Scholarship
Full tuition fee reduction for three years plus a Friendly Hand Bursary of £12,000 per annum
Asylum seeker living in UK, not eligible for student loan. Read more here
The Gentian Scholarship for Access
Full tuition fee reduction for three years for Home students

International Future Leaders Scholarship
Tuition fee reduction of £4,000 in first year of study for International students
30 scholarships for International students studying any subject with expected A-level grades of ABB or equivalent, who demonstrate outstanding leadership skills. Find out more here.
Elaine Etherton Scholarship
Tuition fee reduction of £3,500 per year for the first three years of study
Available to students with expected grades of AAA at A-level or equivalent and a family income of less than £25,000. Read more here
Santander Widening Access Scholarship
Cash award of £1,250 in the first year of study
This scholarship is provided by Santander and is available in the first year of study to a UK student applying for any undergraduate degree course from a group under-represented in higher education. Read more here
Barbara Raw Scholarships for English
Cash award of £5,000 for Home/EU or International Students studying English
Available for new undergraduate students studying a selected single or joint honours degree within the Department of English with expected A-Levels of AAA or equivalent. Read more here.
The Marriott Family Future Leaders Scholarship in Management
Full tuition fee reduction for three years for Home/EU student in Management
Available for a new undergraduate student studying for a Management degree (or a selected Economics degree) with Home/EU fee status with expected A-levels of AAA or equivalent and outstanding leadership skills. Donald Davies Computer Science Scholarship
Cash award of £1,000 in the first year, followed by £500 in the second, third and fourth (for MSci students) years for Home/EU/International students
Scholarship for new Computer Science students with expected outstanding academic results at A-level or equivalent. Read more here
Eliahou Dangoor Scholarship for Geography
Cash award of £1,000 for Home/EU/International student in Geography

For those of you who excel at sports there are sports scholarships available. Each year we offer a range of sports scholarships to students with varying levels of ability from regional players to Olympic hopefuls.
