This scholarship is offered as a £4,000 fee reduction and is available to a new full-time student with Home fee or International fee status studying for a MMus in Music.
Am I eligible?
You must be a full-time student applying to study for a MMus Music. You are expected to have achieved, or be on target to achieve, a First Class Honours degree or equivalent.
How do I apply?
Applications for 2022 entry are closed. Applicants will be made aware of the outcome of their application after 26 July 2022.
Application guidelines
You must provide a supporting statement of no more than 400 words (please note that statements that exceed the word count will automatically be rejected), which should include:
- academic achievements you are particularly proud of
- the reason you have chosen to apply for MMus Music and your future aspirations
- reasons why you deserve the scholarship and how this scholarship would help in achieving your future goals
- the impact this scholarship would have on your education from a financial standpoint.
Your statement will be judged on how effectively and convincingly you respond to the above.
As well as your statement, you will need to upload your most recent grades transcript from your undergraduate degree. Any applications that are submitted without an uploaded transcript will be rejected.

This scholarship is available to a new full-time student studying for a MMus Music degree.
Eligibility
This scholarship is open to new full-time students who are expected to have achieved, or be on target to achieve, a First Class Honours degree or equivalent, applying for the following programme:
- MMus Music
Allocation
Candidates will be assessed based on academic performance to date. A strong Scholarship Statement is also required. Along with the scholarship statement, applicants will need to upload their most recent grades transcript from your undergraduate degree.
Payment
This scholarship is offered as a £4,000 tuition fee reduction. The tuition fee reduction is only available for one year of study. No additional payment is offered in any following years if the duration of the programme is longer than one year.
