As soon as you have received your offer to study with us, you can apply for as many of our scholarships as you are eligible for. We recommend submitting your course application as soon as possible to allow time for scholarship applications. Find out more about applying to study with us.

Below is a list of the scholarships available to students applying for postgraduate degrees at Royal Holloway. Please check the individual scholarships to see if applications have opened for 2022 entry.

If you're applying for a research degree, there are specific scholarships available.

Royal Holloway graduates who apply for a postgraduate course automatically receive a 15% discount on tuition fees for the first year of study. There is no need to apply.

If you have graduated from another University of London institution you can receive a 10% discount on tuition fees (exemptions apply, see our scholarships terms and conditions).

For students with Home fee or International fee status studying a range of postgraduate courses. Read more.

Full or part-time Masters students with, or expected to achieve, a First Class degree, or equivalent, studying selected degree courses. Read more.

One scholarship is available for a student with Home fee or International fee status with, or expected to achieve, a First Class degree or equivalent, studying within selected departments. Read more

Full or part-time Masters students with, or expected to achieve, a First Class degree, or equivalent, studying selected degree courses. Read more.

For US citizens with, or expected to achieve, a First Class degree or equivalent studying any Masters degree. Read more.

Students applying for MA Medieval Studies with, or expected to achieve, a 2:1 degree or equivalent. Read more.

Two scholarships are available for two Masters students with Home fee status living and educated in the UK studying any taught Masters degree within the School of Humanities, with or expected to achieve, at least a 2:1 degree. Read more.

Students applying for selected degrees within the departments of Business and Management, Computer Science, Earth Sciences, Electronic Engineering, Information Security, Mathematics and Physics. Read more.

Students applying to degree programmes within the Hellenic Institute - MA History: Hellenic Studies and MA in Late Antique and Byzantine Studies. Read more.

This prize is for a new full-time student studying MA in Crusader Studies. Read more.

Two scholarships are available for postgraduate courses in English for students who have achieved, or are expected to achieve, a 2:1 degree. Read more Read more.

One scholarship is available for a new postgraduate student who has achieved, or is expected to achieve, a 2:1 degree. Read more Read more.

Scholarship for a new full-time or part-time student with Home fee status, applying for one of the following programmes and expected to have achieved, or be on target to achieve, a 2:1 or higher. Read more.

One scholarship is available for a new full-time postgraduate studying for a MMus in Music, who has achieved, or is on target to achieve, a First Class Honours degree. Read more.

One scholarship is available to a new full-time postgraduate studying MA Holocaust Studies who has achieved, or is expected to achieve, a First Class Honours degree or equivalent. Read more

Available for students with Home or International fee status, with a financial need, on target to achieve at least a 2:1. Find out more

Three scholarships are available for new full or part-time students applying for selected postgraduate degrees within our Department of History who have achieved, or are expected to achieve, a First Class degree. Find out more

Two scholarships are available to new full-time Masters students from India who have outstanding academic ability, with preference given to students who have a connection with Uttar Pradesh. Read more.

 

This scholarship is open to home and international students studying a postgraduate degree within our Department of History who has achieved, or is expected to achieve, a First Class degree or equivalent. Find out more

Two scholarships are available for students living and educated in the UK with an offer to study MMus Music and have achieved, or are on target to achieve, a First Class Honours degree. Read more.

Two scholarships are available to students from Communications University China (CUC) or Shanghai International Studies University (SISU) China due to graduate in 2022 or completing their Dual Masters at Royal Holloway. Find out more.

This scholarship is available to eligible EU students who are classified as overseas for fees purposes and are an EU national on 1 September before the start of their course. Find out more.

For those of you who excel at sports there are sports scholarships available. Each year we offer a range of sports scholarships to students with varying levels of ability from regional players to Olympic hopefuls. These scholarships provide levels of financial support up to £2,000 as well as a full support package. Read more here

Postgrad Solutions offers 15 bursaries worth £500 across a number of subject areas, as well as for general postgraduate study. Read more here

This is an external scholarship for students with Black or mixed Black heritage who also meet one of the following: qualified for free school meals; young carer; looked-after child; household annual income of less than £23,999. Find out more.
