Find out more about applying for a place at Royal Holloway through Clearing.
You may not achieve the grades you need for your university offer, or you may have made a late decision to study at a UK university. If that's the case, then Clearing can help you find a place on an undergraduate course starting in September 2019.
Am I eligible to apply through Clearing?
You can go through Clearing if you are not holding any conditional offers as either your Firm or Insurance at any other institution and you have received all your results.
How can I apply to Royal Holloway through Clearing?
If you already have your results, for example International Baccalaureate, get in touch with one of our team on +44 (0)1784 772455
We'll talk through our available places and what we might be able to offer you.
If you are expecting A-Level results this year, Clearing will be available from 15 August.
Accepting a Clearing offer
Follow these straightforward steps to accept your offer.
Adjustment is available if you have done better in your exams than expected and would like to apply for a place at a different university. This option is available from 15 August. Find out more about adjustment eligibility.
If we make you an offer of a place during Early Clearing (5 July-8 August), we'll also be able to guarantee you a place in Halls if you apply for accommodation by midnight on 8 August.
In order to do this you will need to refer yourself to Royal Holloway on UCAS as soon as possible, and at the latest by 4pm on 6 August. You will also need to submit a separate accommodation application by midnight (UK time) on Thursday 8 August (we will contact you directly about this after you have referred yourself through UCAS).
