  • Welcome to Royal Holloway - 10am-10.30am or 2pm-2.30pm

Join us for an overview of Royal Holloway and what to expect from the university as a postgraduate student. We'll talk about our history, the aims and ambitions we have for our university and its students in the present day, and the journey we and our alumni want to go on in the future. We'll also introduce our two different campuses in Egham and London and what there is to see, do and experience in our local surroundings.

  • Funding and scholarships - 11am-11.30am

Funding postgraduate study can often be challenging for many people, and we know many of you may feel confused as to whether you can afford to study an advanced degree and what options are available to you.

In this talk, we'll first try to demystify the Master's and Doctoral Loans, looking at how and when to apply, and how your repayment plan might look. We'll then talk about scholarships, highlighting the different options available and how to make your scholarship application stand out above others in a competitive process.

  • Postgraduate student life - 4pm-5pm

Join our panel of current students to gain invaluable insight into life as a postgraduate at Royal Holloway. We'll share pro tips, favourite locations and general advice, as well as making sure we have plenty of time to cover any burning questions you have.

  • Supporting international students - 9am-10am or 5pm-6pm

In this session, members of our International Team will talk you through exactly what to expect at every stage of the process: from the moment you first apply, to preparing yourself for life in the UK, and how to find medical, wellbeing and general support through your studies.

  • Accommodation guide - 10.30am-11.30am

Discover the different accommodation options we have available for postgraduate students, how the application process works, and how accommodation is assigned. We'll also talk a bit about searching for private accommodation and how the university can support you with that.

  • Life at our London campus - 2pm-3pm

Our central London campus allows you to immerse yourself in the energy, diversity and opportunity of the UK’s capital. In this session, we’ll provide an overview of our London base, introducing the courses we teach there and the local area.
