Dr Dan Bedingham

I am the coordinator for the Science strand of the Foundation Degree.

I have a PhD in Theoretical Physics from Imperial College. I’m mainly interested in trying to make sense of quantum theory, but also black holes, dark matter, and all that. My undergraduate degree was in Physics at Imperial College. I’ve since worked as a researcher at the University of Sussex, Imperial College, and the University of Oxford. I’ve also worked in the financial industry as a ‘quant’.

In my spare time I like to ride my bike, play my guitar, and learn Italian, but not all at the same time.
