As we approach another term's, end I want to congratulate you on your hard work and dedication throughout the past few months. We’ve had some fantastic events going on this term, including celebrating the 20th anniversary of Royal Holloway Volunteering, hearing your perspectives at our RH100 student panels and supporting our Sports teams as they get ready for Varsity. You may have attended our popular Careers events, including our first ever Sustainable Careers Day, celebrated LGBT+ and Women’s History Month or found support and advice on National Student Money Week and University Mental Health Day.

Over the vacation weeks, I encourage you to take some time to enjoy a well-deserved rest before we enter the assessment period. It’s important to take care of yourself both physically and mentally - make sure to get enough rest, do some of things you really love to help you relax, exercise regularly, and eat well.

Remember the assessment period is just one part of your academic journey. Whilst we all strive to do our best in everything, your worth as a student and a person is not defined solely by your grades. Focus on learning and growing, and take huge pride in your progress so far.

I wish you the best of luck in your upcoming assessments. You are capable of great things, and remember we are here to support you in your academic endeavours.

Enjoy your Spring break, and I will see you in a few weeks’ time.
