Find the right place

There are also venues to eat and drink in the Emily Wilding Davison Building, the Students' Union and the Boilerhouse Café. There's always somewhere for you to meet friends and enjoy a meal or drink together.

Café on the Square

In the Emily Wilding Davison Building, our library café serves Starbucks coffee and a wide range of snacks, sandwiches and cold drinks.

Boilerhouse Café

Located in the stunning Victorian Boilerhouse, which was refurbished in 2015, the café serves artisan coffee. It’s the perfect venue for a light lunch, with hot and cold options available including baguettes, soups, vegan and vegetarian sandwiches and lots more.

The Van

Located outside the Boilerhouse Café, our vegetarian street food van serves burgers, toasties and soup every week day lunchtime, with vegetarian fish, chips and mushy peas on Fridays.

The Union Shop

Also in the Davison Building, the Union Shop has a wide range of groceries, chilled and frozen food, sandwiches, sushi, drinks, wines and beers.

The shop is run by the Students' Union with all profits going back into the services they provide the student community.

Tommy's Kitchen

Tommy's Kitchen, named after our founder Thomas Holloway, is located in the Students' Union building. Serving an array of hot meals, sandwiches and paninis, and hot and cold drinks, you can grab a bite to eat on the go or enjoy lunch or dinner at a more relaxed pace.

Medicine

Also run by the Students' Union, Medicine is named after our founder's profession as a purveyor of pills and potions. It’s a lively place to grab some pizza with your friends.

The Packhorse

Just across the road from campus and run by the Students’ Union, at The Packhorse you can get craft ales and ciders as well as all your favourites at student prices, great food that caters for all and a good time as standard.

Everyday Value

When you see the red and white Everyday Value logo, you know it’s the best possible price.

Your very own kitchen

With an on-campus shop and a weekly fruit and vegetable market in the Students' Union, you can make yourself healthy and delicious meals in your halls of residence.

All self-catered halls are equipped with everything you need to cook up a storm in the kitchen.
