Find the right place

There are also venues to eat and drink in the Emily Wilding Davison Building, the Students' Union and the Boilerhouse Café. There's always somewhere for you to meet friends and enjoy a meal or drink together.

Social Bite

In the Emily Wilding Davison Building, our library café serves great coffee with a clear social impact. With tempting snacks and value meal deals, every purchase supports the mission to end homelessness.

The coffee is Fairtrade, organic and Rainforest Alliance certified, and through Social Bite’s Pay It Forward scheme you can buy a meal or drink for someone in need. Do good while you enjoy a tasty treat.

Boilerhouse Café

Located in the stunning Victorian Boilerhouse, the café serves artisan coffee. It’s the perfect venue for a light lunch, with hot and cold options available including baguettes, soups, vegan and vegetarian sandwiches and lots more.

The Union Shop

Also in the Davison Building, the Union Shop has a wide range of groceries, chilled and frozen food, sandwiches, sushi, drinks, wines and beers.

The shop is run by the Students' Union, with all profits going back into the services they provide the student community.

The Packhorse

Just across the road from campus and run by the Students’ Union, at The Packhorse you can get craft ales and ciders as well as all your favourites at student prices, great food that caters for all and a good time as standard.

Everyday Value

When you see the red and white Everyday Value logo, you know it’s the best possible price.

Your very own kitchen

With an on-campus shop and a weekly fruit and vegetable market in the Students' Union, you can make yourself healthy and delicious meals in your halls of residence.

All self-catered halls are equipped with everything you need to cook up a storm in the kitchen.
