Do Clearing your way at Royal Holloway
Clearing is your way to find a place at university if you've applied late, changed your mind or results are not as expected. Clearing 2026 is now open, but the majority of students will use it from A-level results day on Thursday 13 August.

As a guide, for most of our courses*, we’re expecting to consider IB grades from 24 overall or 444 at Higher Level, or CCC at A-level, or equivalent, but we’re happy to discuss your options if you’re interested in studying with us.
Some courses may require a specific grade in a relevant subject, but please call us to discuss your results.
