Welcome to the Department of Social Work

The Social Work Department contributes to national and international knowledge development through research activities. Our research aims to inform social work knowledge, policy and principles and is an important part of our approach to teaching and learning. Prof Anna Gupta is one of nine members of the Black Female Professors Forum co-leading a major research project funded by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) via the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC).
