CERN: New Physics beyond New Colliders

  • Date 29 Jan 2020
  • Time 15:30 - 16:30

Dr. Eva Montbarbon (CERN)

The Physics Beyond Colliders (PBC) programme has been launched at CERN in 2016, aiming at exploiting the full scientific potential of CERN’s accelerator complex complementary to the collider projects. In the framework of PBC, the Conventional Beams Working Group (CBWG) explores the feasibility of future physics proposals in the fixed target facilities, especially in the CERN North Area. We present this experimental area, the corresponding beam lines as well as an overview of the proposed projects.
