The Department of Music at Royal Holloway has been ranked 7th place for Music in The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2019.

The league table lists 79 institutions offering Music, putting the department in the top 9%. The ranking takes account of the quality of the department’s teaching and research, as well as factors including the student experience and graduate prospects.

The department’s ranking has risen from 15th place in 2018, and represents a return to the Top 10 positions regularly occupied in previous years.
