Bosmans, Fernando & Bernstein: Royal Holloway Symphony Orchestra

From the toe-tapping to the heart-wrenching, we continue our celebrations of Leonard Bernstein's 100th birthday with his famous 'Symphonic Dances' from West Side Story. In a concert of two-halves championing a programme of a transatlantic flavour, the Royal Holloway Symphony Orchestra under the helm of Rebecca Miller will also treat us to Henriëtte Bosmans’ Poeme for cello and orchestra (featuring cellist, Mathieu Foubert), plus a newly-commissioned work, Echo of a Woman, from award-winning composer and Royal Holloway Lecturer, Samantha Fernando.

There will be a 20-minute interval during this event. Refreshments will be available to purchase in the Windsor Building Foyer.
