Welcome to the School of Business and Management

Welcome to the School of Business and Management

  • Date24 September 2020

Since our creation as the Centre for Management in 1990, we have strived to provide a cutting edge learning experience for all our students - making full use of our strong, globally facing research focus to inform and shape our teaching.

In 1990 we also gained School status, and from then on we have continued to grow and grow. From 1994 we were able to offer single honours degrees, and by the turn of the millennium we’d developed several Masters programmes. October 2019 welcomed in another new era, developing from the School of Management into the School of Business and Management.

The School is situated in the Moore Building (once the home to a botanical laboratory in the 1890s) which has developed from its original form into an innovative, vibrant home for us on campus - embracing our proud Royal Holloway heritage whilst reflecting our modern attitude as a School.
