Are you a year 12 or 13 student, or a current undergraduate or postgraduate student interested in human beings? Understanding the interconnections between people's experiences, behaviours and social contexts is an important aspect of the social sciences and underpins research and careers in this field.
Prof Frank Keating, an expert in mental health and race will provide this short lecture to explore the well documented racial inequalities in mental health. He will argue that these issues have been overlooked in the discourse on Covid 19, despite increasing recognition of the impact of the global pandemic on mental health and well-being. There will be opportunities for Q & A.
