REPLAY Festival 2019

Formed by Royal Holloway Music students, the epoch ensemble gave their inaugural performance as a semi-finalist in the 2019 St Martin in the Fields chamber competition to high acclaim. The ensemble aims to engage with composers on the development and presentation of new works, whilst also looking back to the established repertory of the 20th-century. Join epoch in their first appearance at Royal Holloway where they will perform Gaubert’s impressionistic Trois aquarelles, Kapustin’s joyfully jazzy Trio, and present works by postgraduate composers Peter le Tissier and Sam Messer.

This event is part of REPLAY Festival 2019, a three-day, biennial festival of music presented by the Department, showcasing some of the best and most innovative modern, world and classical music at Royal Holloway.
