Digital Media Arts is a dynamic community of artists, designers, technologists and researchers shaping the future of digital media. Our courses bring together digital art, games, moving image, virtual production, immersive media, sound, AI and emerging technologies. Informed by world-leading research and grounded in hands-on practice, students develop creative and critical approaches to digital media through making, experimentation and collaboration.
Students can create experimental media projects, design game worlds, produce moving image and visual effects, and develop interactive and immersive experiences. With opportunities for collaboration, public showcasing and portfolio development, students build the skills, experience and confidence to pursue careers across creative technology, games, virtual production, design and media industries.
