Exploring Psychology

We run a number of psychology events throughout the year for A-level students interested in studying Psychology at university. Please see below for further details.

Each year, we host four major events designed to support schools, teachers, and students interested in psychology. Is the University Right for Me? takes place in October-November, our Psychology taster Day runs in February-March, and both the National Psychology Competition and our Working Together: Research and Practice (hosted by South East Research Network for Schools at Royal Holloway) event are held in May-June.

Is University Right for Me?

For students aged 16-18 who are contemplating their future educational path (October-November). 

Psychology Taster Day

For Y12 students thinking about studying psychology (February-March).

National Psychology Competition

For A-level students interested in pitting their psychology knowledge and skills against pupils from across the UK (May-June).

Working together: Research and Practice Meetings

For teachers and school practitioners to have collaborative discussions on topics such as mental health and literacy across all key stages.
