Centre for International Security

The Royal Holloway Centre for International Security (RHISC) is the hub for research and teaching on international security at Royal Holloway, University of London within the Department of Politics and International Relations. We offer expertise on a wide variety of themes relating to international security and security policy.

RHISC is at the heart of a dynamic and innovative network of experts. We are committed to external engagement and impact. Members are engaged in policy debates, advising public bodies, and working with NGOs. They have also testified and consulted at Westminster, the House of Lords, European Parliament, European Commission, the United Nations, the G7 and the G20, and are frequent speakers in national and international media.

We are also home to the flagship MSc International Security programme and a vibrant PhD community.

RHISC is a member of the EU Non-Proliferation and Disarmament Consortium.
