Welcome

Welcome to Philosophy at Royal Holloway. Philosophy is the study of big questions - about truth, knowledge, value, and beauty. As such it is perennially relevant. It is also about questioning critically received truths and learning the skills of logical argument. These skills are relevant in any and every walk of life, and they never go out of date. A degree in Philosophy will set you up for your life, both personally and professionally. In the sections below you will find further information about us, the programmes we offer for both undergraduates and postgraduates, our research, and what you can do with your degree in Philosophy.
