Composer-performer Mica talks about her practice.

Mica studied the violin, viola and composition at the Purcell School, and later composition at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Between 2009 and 2015 she released four albums on Rough Trade Records with the group Micachu and The Shapes (Mark Pell and Raisa Khan).

She has released three original soundtracks for the films Under The Skin, the Oscar-winning Jackie, and Delete Beach. Her opera with Dean Blunt, Inna, premiered in 2017 at the ICA. She currently plays with GoodSad HappyBad and CURL.
