Here are some highlights:

French Studies: with an overall positivity score of 90.7% we're positioned 3rd nationally out of 25 institutions (based on score, and when compared with institutions listed in The Guardian University Guide).

Iberian Studies: we have maintained our excellence with an overall positivity score of 91.6%, which positions us 4th nationally out of 28 institutions (based on score, and when compared with institutions listed in The Guardian University Guide).

Liberal Arts: with an overall positivity score of 89.1% we are positioned 3rd nationally out of 12 institutions (based on score, and when compared with institutions listed in The Guardian University Guide).

Many of our students are joint and combined honours, so these results reflect the quality of the department and Royal Holloway as a whole, not just the subjects mentioned.

Congratulations to all our staff for this affirmation of the work they put into teaching and supporting our students! And thank you very much to the Class of 2026 for taking the time to complete the survey.
