Awarded the Nina Boyle Prize for Best 2nd year Modern & Contemporary History student.
Studying history at Royal Holloway has allowed me to delve deeper into my interests relating to social attitudes. Lecturers in the department have provided an open and free space to study aspects of history without restraint which has undoubtedly benefitted my growth as a historian in these past 2 years.
Being awarded the Nina Boyle Memorial Prize is truly uplifting because it has come as a recognition of perseverance and determination in a considerably tough time. Furthermore, this recognition has charged my motivation and momentum for my final year at Royal Holloway, which I hope has a gratifying finish as this year.
