EPOCH Seminar Series - Term 2 Speakers and Dates
We are excited to announce the speakers and dates for this term’s EPOCH Seminar Series!
Wednesday, 4th February, 4:00 p.m. (QB–168)
Dr Ella Walsh, a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Bergen and visiting postdoc within our department, will be starting the term with a talk titled:
“Tracing palaeolandscape change near Middle Stone Age cave sites in South Africa”
Wednesday, 18th February, 4:00 p.m. (QB–168)
We will be hosting an external speaker, Dr Olly Bartlett (Senior Lecturer, University of Hertfordshire), who will be giving a talk on his recent work titled:
“Sustained greening of the Antarctic Peninsula observed from satellites”
Wednesday, 11th March, 4:00 p.m. (QB–168)
Anna Beckett will be presenting some of the most recent results from her PhD, with a talk titled:
“Refining the timing of deglaciation in Britain using a multi-chronological approach”
The seminar series is a great opportunity to hear about a broad range of research, welcome external speakers into the department, and support PhD students in sharing their work.
