We are delighted with the excellent results of this year’s National Student Survey.

Our students evaluated various aspects of our teaching and their experience in the Classics Department by responding to a number of questions.

Royal Holloway Classics has increased its positivity rate to 89.1% and we are delighted to be positioned 9th out of 23 institutions offering Classics in the UK* thus confirming our national reputation for teaching excellence and student satisfaction. 

We have achieved some excellent results in several areas of the Survey such as 94.9% in response to the question “How often do teaching staff make the subject engaging?”  and 98% in response to the question "How often is the course intellectually stimulating?”. 

These results are a reflection of the passion of our academics for teaching and their commitment to supporting our students in their learning journey at university as they, too, discover their passion for Classics!
