Judy Wajcman, the Anthony Giddens Professor of Sociology, London School of Economics is a leader in the promotion of a critical understanding of technology and society, and is author or editor of many journal articles and books on this topic including The Social Shaping of Technology (with Donald Mackenzie, OUP, 1999), Techno Feminism (Polity Press, 2004) and Pressed for Time: The Acceleration of Life in Digital Capitalism (University of Chicago Press, 2015).
