Royal Holloway Becomes a Member of Mosaik's Global Response Platform!
At Royal Holloway, we are committed to the RH2030s strategy, which marks a significant milestone in our journey as a University of Social Purpose. The strategy prepares us for future challenges, helping us to develop the university's culture of welcome as a place of safety, solidarity and empowerment for people seeking sanctuary. Our vision is to be a forward-thinking University, committed to enabling outstanding educational student experience; research and innovation; and local and global engagement with partners to drive social change for a better, more inclusive future.
In June 2025, we were delighted to be recognised as a University of Sanctuary, and since July 2026 we have been a proud member of Mosaik's Global Response Platform.
We extend a safe haven to displaced students and academics, as well as supporting local refugee communities and support organisations through collaborative projects and student volunteering. We take an active role in research and teaching about refugee and forced migration issues, including learning about the issues and obstacles faced by people seeking sanctuary in pursuing higher education.
