The WhatsApp group now has 42 members and is thriving. We keep in touch regularly and have an informal meet-up planned for this term at 11 Bedford Square on 26th March.

14 members attended our last meeting on 30th November. We are quite informal and start with introductions during which we share lunch and memories and always find we have much in common. It’s a great way to make new, like-minded friends as well as keeping in touch with old ones.

For each meeting one or two of us come prepared to speak about a relevant topic, which always starts a lively discussion. At our last meeting, Carol spoke about using archives and we went on to share several book recommendations.

We recently just met on 20th January for a belated New Year social, when our central topic was Citizens’ Assemblies.

On March 26th Jennifer has kindly offered to talk about one of her passions, paper-marbling, (more details in the WhatsApp chat).

Everyone is welcome to join, to chat online and/or attend our informal meetings when you can. To join the group please email your name, subject and date of graduation to alumni@rhul.ac.uk and I will gladly add you to our group.
