Royal Holloway, University of London is proud to celebrate two alumni who have been honoured as part of the India UK Achievers Class of 2026, a programme recognising the achievements of Indians who have studied in the UK.
The Achievers programme is led in partnership with the UK Government's Department for Business and Trade and Universities UK. Now in its fourth year, the Honours recognised 42 individuals as part of the Class of 2026, announced at a reception at the Parliament. The honours recognise Indian alumni of British universities who have made notable contributions across a range of fields, including media, arts, business, and public life.
This year, two Royal Holloway alumni were among those celebrated. Dr. Nafeesa Ahmed (International Management, 2010) was honoured in the Education, Science & Innovation category. Since 2012, she has served as Director at Presidency Group of Institutions, where she has built a career dedicated to shaping education and institutional leadership. Kunal Datt (Management, 2009) was recognised for his work in Government & Politics and is the founder of Unnati – Centre for Evaluation (C4E), an organisation bridging the gap between data and action in the development sector through research, monitoring and evaluation.
Huge congratulations to Kunal and Nafeesa on this well-deserved recognition. We look forward to seeing the continued impact they make!
