The Sports Centre, refurbished in 2014, is situated on our main campus and is the hub of activity and sporting life at Royal Holloway.

Opening hours

Term time

Monday - Friday | 6.30am - 11pm

Saturday | 9am - 8pm

Sunday | 9am - 11pm

Out of term

Monday - Friday | 6.30am - 9pm

Saturday | 9am - 6pm

Sunday | 10am - 6pm

The Sports Centre & Fitness Suite will be open from 9am - 4pm on Bank Holidays.

 

It provides a multi-use sports halla 60 station fitness suite, aerobics area and changing facilities. We are also pleased to be able to offer a wide range of services including personal training and fitness classes.

September 2014 marked the completion of our world-class, floodlit outdoor pitches and courts. The new facility provides all-weather playing surfaces for a wide range of sports. This was made possible in part due to a generous bequest from Physics Alumna, Margaret Young.

In addition to the below, we are fortunate to have two grass football pitches, one American Football field, one cricket pitch, eight tennis courts and five netball courts - all on campus
