Royal Holloway's Volunteering Awards 2022 took place in the university’s famous Picture Gallery, celebrating the achievements of student volunteers.
Royal Holloway's award-winning community choir, Holloway Notes, held their end of term concert in the university’s Victorian Picture Gallery.
In the lead up to Christmas, students at Royal Holloway rallied together to support the local community and those further afield.
On Tuesday 18 May, four students from Royal Holloway, were awarded with Surrey Lord-Lieutenant’s Award of Appreciation for their work in supporting the local community.
Students have packed over 70 festive gift bags filled with donations from the university’s students and staff for local older people who are spending this Christmas alone.
During #iwill Week in November, students from the Royal Holloway foodbank team, successfully organised a Christmas collection for Runnymede Foodbank.
Royal Holloway’s volunteering team organised its annual Love in a Box appeal for the 10th year, in support of FSCI’s Christmas Box Appeal.
Royal Holloway’s volunteering team hosted its first virtual Community Partners’ Conference in September.
Nicola Hewitt-George, Design Technician for the Department of Drama, Theatre and Dance at Royal Holloway, University of London, has been volunteering her time to produce PPE.
