Album Launch Concert with the Choir of Royal Holloway at St Bartholomew The Great, London

Join the Choir in celebrating the release of two brand new albums with live performances of two very different Requiems of our time.

Eleanor Daley’s prize-winning Requiem draws inspiration from the Requiem of Herbert Howells - with similarly rich unaccompanied choral textures. Combining biblical texts, poetry, and timeless prayers, Daley creates music that is both consoling and expressive, with memorable melodies and sensitive text setting.

Lux Stellarum (Light of the Stars) is a radiant new requiem for choir and organ by Oliver Tarney blending plainsong, scripture, and poetry by John Donne and Marjorie Pickthall. At once intimate and expansive, the work invites listeners to contemplate the mystery of the cosmos – and a God who calls each star, and each soul, by name.

Booking is essential.
