IT Services would like to inform students about an active phishing campaign that has been detected at the University, in which a suspicious email offering a job opportunity appears to come from a member of staff.
We are working as a priority to investigate this, and will keep you updated via the intranet as we progress.
In the meantime, we’d like to remind you to remain cautious of all suspicious email activity, including clicking on unexpected links. You can view our tips on staying cyber safe and information about phishing for more help.
If you think you may have received a suspicious email, use the Report button in the Outlook mail app; this deletes the email and alerts the security systems. If you have opened links in the email or have any worries, please reset your password and get in touch with us.
