Submit your memories and photos of Hanover Lodge

Royal Holloway and Bedford New College is reacquiring one of the original signs of Hanover Lodge, one of Bedford College’s halls of residence.

Hanover Lodge was built in about 1827, designed by the architect John Nash, and stands in the Outer Circle of Regent’s Park. It was leased in 1947 as a residence for around 30 Bedford College students and it was extended in the 1960s to accommodate larger student numbers.

We are keen to gather memories and photos of Hanover lodge from alumni and former staff. Please submit yours by 31st October using the form below and we will publish a selection on the alumni website and in the next Bedford Society newsletter.

We are grateful to have the sign returned to the university by Gary at Surrey Antiques.

If you were a former staff member, please include the department and years you were at Bedford College
You may wish to draft memories in a separate document and copy and paste them into the box to avoid any progress being lost
