The Economics department hosted PhD candidates from the “Regional Disparities and Economic Policies” research training group from various universities of the Ruhr region in Germany.

The workshop was a stimulating event that covered a wide range of issues including climate change adaptation, the value of trains, wage growth, monitoring illegal drug usage, and education and retirement decisions.
