Royal Holloway University of London is one of the most international universities in the UK. Students from more than 130 countries live and study here and are part of our close-knit community
Statement from the Principal
On 31 January 2020, the UK formally left the European Union (EU).
"Leaving the EU, in one way, ends some of the uncertainty we have all experienced over the last three years. However, the forthcoming period of transition brings with it further uncertainty, as relationships, funding mechanisms and paths of mobility between the UK and Europe are reviewed. I appreciate there remain genuine causes for concern for our students, colleagues and those interested in studying in the UK.
Royal Holloway was founded over 150 years ago on principles of excellence and inclusivity. I am proud to say that today we remain an open and welcoming institution that is strengthened by diversity, the talent diversity brings and the creativity it fosters.
Ours is a close-knit community and we will continue to welcome students and colleagues from all over the world to our campus. Our ability to inspire one another, and determination to go forward with purpose will ensure that together we will succeed in these changing and uncertain times."
