Dr David Bullen

Hi, I'm David. I'm a theatre director and writer, and my work mostly focused on retelling older, mythic stories for the present day. I'm also a theatre historian: I research how ancient Greek drama has been used in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries by women and LGBTQI+ artists to tell their own neglected stories.

I am a keen film fan - and though I'd love to say my favourite is an obscure indie no one has ever heard of, it is probably Jurassic Park, if I'm being honest. However, my main obsession is my fluffy white dog, Diana, who occupies most of my time when I'm not working!
