Book a campus tour

Book a campus tour

Don't take our word for it - book a tour of our campus to see it for yourself.

Come to our campus to view the fantastic facilities, see where you could be studying and living and find out more about what Royal Holloway has to offer. We run regular guided tours of our Egham campus, or if you can't make the dates, you're welcome to come along for a self-led tour.

Guided campus tours

Explore our campus with one of our friendly student ambassadors, who'll also answer all your questions about what it's like to be a student here. Tours take about an hour. See our FAQs below for more information.

Keep an eye on this page for more information about our next guided tours.

Self-led tours

If you can't make one of our guided tours, you're welcome to come along for a self-led tour. You'll just need to register so we know you're coming and we'll send you a guide to help you find your way around. Find out more by reading our FAQs below.

Where does the tour start?

One of our Student Ambassadors will be waiting to meet you in the Emily Wilding Davison Building foyer. They'll be wearing a bright orange top so you can't miss them. We recommend you arrive about 10 minutes before your booked time.

Will I get to see the accommodation?

We can't guarantee you'll be able to see inside our halls but you will get to see where they are on campus and have a look at the outside of the buildings. Virtual tours of our halls are available here.

How long does the tour take?

The tour should take approximately 1 hour.

Will I be able to visit an academic department?

Your student ambassador will be able to point out the academic buildings you're interested in and you may be able to have a look inside. If you'd like to speak directly to academic staff, we recommend coming along to one of our Open Days, or contacting them directly for an informal chat.

Do I need to book tickets for my guests?

You can bring as many guests as you like and will only need one booking for yourself and your guests.

Where can I park?

Let us know your car's details when you register, so that we can add you to our system for the day and you'll be able to park in one of our car parks.  Please note, we aren't able to guarantee a parking space and the car parks can get busy. If you decide to drive after completing your booking form you can contact us on +44 (0)1784 414112 or  campus-tours@royalholloway.ac.uk to register your vehicle.

Can I get there using public transport?

Egham railway station is the nearest station to campus. It's about 1.2 miles away and there are bus and taxi services between the station and campus.

Can I book at the last minute?

Yes! We'll accept bookings right up to the tour start time. Just click on the button above to book your place.

Can I update, change or cancel my booking?

Yes! You can amend, update or cancel your booking in Eventbrite using the My Events page. If you're having any problems, just contact us on +44 (0)1784 414112 or campus-tours@royalholloway.ac.uk and we'll be able to help.
