Physics bursaries

Physics bursary 2018

We offer an unlimited number of Physics bursaries to Home/EU and International students studying selected Physics undergraduate degrees at Royal Holloway.

You must achieve at least AAA (or equivalent) in your A-levels, including Maths (and/or Further Maths) and Physics to be eligible for the bursary. You also need to have made Royal Holloway your firm choice.

These bursaries are worth £1,500 for each year of undergraduate study, paid as a cash award. 

How do I apply? 

These bursaries are available to undergraduates studying:

  • Physics (MSci)

  • Astrophysics (MSci)

  • Theoretical Physics (MSci)

  • Physics with Particle Physics (MSci)

  • Experimental Physics (MSci)

  • Physics (BSc)

  • Astrophysics (BSc)

  • Theoretical Physics (BSc)

  • Physics with Particle Physics (BSc)

  • Experimental Physics (BSc)

  • Physics with Music (BSc)

  • Physics with Philosophy (BSc).

All qualifying students will automatically be awarded a bursary.

Additional information

You can hold a Physics bursary in conjunction with any other scholarship.

You must achieve a First in your end-of-year exams for year 1, 2 and 3 (where applicable) to have your bursary renewed the following academic year.

A Physics bursary won't be finalised until the bursary conditions are met in full.
