Fees and funding

Student finance can be confusing as there are plenty of options such as loans, bursaries and scholarships to choose from

Grants and loans

Grants and loans are provided by the government and vary depending on household income and residence status. We provide bursaries and scholarships that vary on a number of factors such as academic, sporting and musical excellence as well as household income and residence status.

Tuition fees

Tuition fees are charged by all universities with different rates for Home/EU students and overseas students. Fees also vary depending on the course that is being studied.

Students may be eligible for a government maintenance grant and/or loan. Applications for loans and grants are made online to Student Finance and you are likely to have to provide evidence of your household income.
