Complimentary guest tickets

  • You can book two complimentary guest tickets at the time of registering to attend your ceremony.
  • Please confirm your attendance and book your complimentary guest tickets by 12pm (GMT) on Friday 10 November HERE.
  • Please note tickets are non-transferrable.

Extra purchased guest ticket

Once the booking site has closed for complimentary tickets, graduands who have registered their attendance will receive an email with details on how to purchase additional tickets should there be any tickets left over.

  • Additional tickets cost £20 per ticket, graduands can only book one extra ticket and they are subject to availability on a first come first served basis.
  • Please note availability of additional tickets is not guaranteed by the university and will depend on whether any tickets are remaining after the initial booking period.
  • The dates for the opening and closing of the registration site will be clear on the graduation student intranet. However, if all available tickets are sold for a particular ceremony, the booking site will close before the advertised deadline and a message will be displayed on the ticketing booking site.
  • Any remining tickets will be sold on the day subject to availabilty.

Tickets on the day

  • On the day there may be a limited number of tickets that can be purchsaed in person from the queries desk in the Windsor Foyer. 
  • All tickets to purchase on the day are subject availability.
  • Ticket Availabilty will be published on the intranet pages week commencing 4 December.

Cancellation and refunds

  • Should you wish to cancel your tickets (complimentary or purchased) please do so via the booking site. Please do cancel these as early as possible so we are then able to offer these to the other graduates.Tickets will not be refunded after the booking site has closed.

Children

  • As part of the registration and booking process we'll ask you to confirm whether you will be bringing a child under the age of five to your ceremony. Pushchairs and buggies are not permitted in the venues. 

  • Graduation ceremonies are formal in nature and young children may become restless or unsettled during the ceremony. To avoid any disruption to the ceremony, guests with very young children will be asked to sit near the exit so they can easily leave the venue if they need to do so. 

  • Children under five years of age do not require a guest ticket but must be seated on an adults lap in the venue. 

  • Children aged five years and over will need to have their own guest ticket. There are no child concessions for the purchase of additional guest tickets.

How and when will you receive your tickets

You will receive your e-tickets via email, week commencing 4 December.

Gowns  

  • Please book these directly with Ede and Ravenscroft. All eligible graduands will be sent an email week commencing 2 October with full details on how to hire gowns and book your tickets. You must make your booking before 12pm (GMT) on Friday 10 November. 

  • Graduands will recieve an email once the booking site is open. 
  • Please be aware that in order to hire your gown you will need to know your head 

    circumference and height, please have this ready when you register.

Reception  

  • Recpetions will be held directly after the ceremony.

  • Receptions will take place in either the Founder's Dining Hall or the Picture Gallery.

  • A breakdown of reception locations wil be shared ahead of the ceremony week commencing 4 December.

Your contact details

It is particularly important that you update your mobile number and personal email address, as you may lose access to your college email account once your course has finished, and we will require these to contact you. Please note, it is the responsibility of all students/graduates to provide accurate and current personal information. The university will not be responsible for the failure of a student to receive information and updates regarding graduation where a student does not check their emails, has not provided accurate and current contact details, or where the communication has been filed in the ‘Junk Folder’ by the student’s email provider.

 

 Accessibility arrangements 

  • As part of the registration and booking process you will be asked to confirm whether you, or any of your guests have additional access needs. You will be contacted before graduation to discuss these needs.

  • Disabled parking is provided on campus. Permits will be sent to you ahead of the ceremonies. Please print and display it on your dashboard when arriving on campus to help our parking team direct you to our car parks.

Animals  

  • With the exception of guide dogs and hearing dogs, pets and other animals are not permitted in the graduation venues.
