We have a new feature on campus this term- it's the arrival of Amazon Lockers! You might have noticed these bright new additions, so here is some more information to help you make the most of them.
What are Amazon Lockers?
Amazon Lockers are self-service kiosks where you can collect and return Amazon parcels at a time convenient for you. They are free to use for Amazon Prime members, and even non-Prime members can get One Day Delivery at discounted prices.
Where are they?
Our Amazon Lockers are located in Founder's West, adjacent to the Hall Reception Post Room, in Highfield Common Room, and in The Hub Dining Room. These are available to all students and staff.
When can I use them?
You can collect your parcels from the Amazon Lockers at any time convenient to you, within the following opening hours:
Founder's Locker 8am-8pm
Highfield Locker 9am-5pm
Hub Locker 7am-10pm
How do I use them?
Log-in to your Amazon account (you’ll need to set one up if you don’t already have one). Search for your nearest Locker and add it to your Amazon address book. Shop as usual, and select the Amazon Locker location as your delivery address when you check out.
Your parcel will be delivered to the Locker within the delivery timeframe selected. Once delivered, you will receive an e-mail notification with a unique pickup code, which will also be available in your order’s tracking information.
You’ll have three days to collect your parcel, after which it will automatically be returned and refunded. When you arrive to collect your parcel, enter your unique pickup code or scan the barcode using the barcode scanner and follow the instructions on the screen.
Amazon Lockers can also be used to return parcels; you have thirty days to return a parcel and receive a full refund. Simply visit the Amazon Online Returns Centre and submit your return request, and you will then receive a Locker drop off code via email. Securely package and label your return. Take the code with you to the Locker and follow the on screen instructions to return the parcel.
