Work has started to create a safe route between Royal Holloway's new George Eliot Halls on the university's north campus and the south campus, with the installation of a new pedestrian crossing and bus shelters on the A30. 

This work will be carried out in four phases, during the first three phase there will be pedestrian diversions and bus stops suspended and during the final stage there will be partial road closure.

We apologise for the any inconvenience caused by these essential works.  

Phase 1: 18 July – 24 July

Bus stop enabling works outside the Pack Horse Public House

There will be a pedestrian diversion in place and the bus stop will be suspended during these works.  Alternative bus stops are shown on the map below.

Phase 2: 25 July – 2 August

Toucan Crossing Enabling Works – Harvest Road/A30 junction area

There will be a pedestrian diversion in place during these works.

Phase 3: 31 July – 4 August

Bus stop enabling works outside the University entrance

There will be a pedestrian diversion in place and the bus stop will be suspended during these works.
