On Tuesday 6 June from 6.15pm in the Windsor Building Auditorium, multi-award winning actor Sir Ben Kingsley will be in conversation with Professor Robert Eaglestone and Professor Barry Langford, both from Royal Holloway’s Holocaust Research Institute.

Sir Ben Kingsley has a special concern for the Holocaust, which has grown through his friendship with Holocaust survivor and Nazi hunter Simon Wiesenthal and also through his significant roles in several major Holocaust films, including Murderers Among Us: The Simon Wiesenthal Story, Schindler's List and the TV miniseries Anne Frank: The Whole Story.

On 6 June, Sir Ben will discuss the moral witness of survivors he has known, including Simon Wiesenthal and Elie Wiesel, as well as his own involvement and responses as an actor with the representation of the Holocaust. The event will be introduced by Sir Andrew Burns KCMG, former UK Special Envoy for post-Holocaust issues 2010-2015.
