The College welcomes the public to explore its spectacular Grade 1 Listed Founder’s Building, Picture Gallery, Chapel and extensive grounds.

The Founder’s Building, founded by entrepreneur, Thomas Holloway and opened by Queen Victoria in 1886, is modelled on the Château de Chambord in the Loire Valley. Its flamboyant architecture makes it one of the most impressive university buildings in the world.



All tours are free unless otherwise stated:

Picture Gallery Tours (open between 11am - 5pm)
11.30am, 12.45pm, 2.30pm, 3.45pm

Archives and Founder's Library Tours (tickets apply)
11.30am, 12.30pm, 1.30pm, 3pm, 4pm

Virginia Park the former Holloway Sanatorium (tickets apply)
12.30pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm

Campus Tours - £2 (tickets apply)
11.30am, 12noon, 12.30pm, 1.15pm, 2pm, 2.30pm, 3.15pm, 4pm

Tickets available from the Information Desk, North Quad, Founder's Building on the day only (no pre-booking).

Refreshments available; guide dogs only, all welcome.  Car parking available.
