At this time of year, as you finish exams and in the lead up to graduation, some of you will be in a position to move directly into your desired career or postgraduate study.
However, others may have a little more work to do. The Careers & Employability Service wants to help you get hired!
We have designed the Get Hired this Summer programme to help those of you who haven't yet decided what career you wish to pursue after graduation. The programme will help you figure out what you want to do, refine your options and guide you through the application process.
Not sure where to start? Complete our online toolkit and in just ten minutes you'll have a clearer idea of what your next steps should be. 90% of users have said it helped them with their career plans and as an added incentive, everyone who completes it will be entered into a draw to win £50 of Amazon vouchers.

The 500 Jobs Fair
On Tuesday 29 May from 12pm to 3pm, you have a one-off chance to meet a handful of elite recruiters on campus. They are looking for Royal Holloway 2018 leavers for 500 paid graduate roles, all starting in June .
Not sure what job would suit you? The recruiters have roles for finalists from all disciplines across a wide range of areas, so let them make some suggestions: permanent jobs, graduate schemes, temporary office jobs (e.g. general assistant, data analysis, financial assistant, admin, reception, office support) and temporary non-office jobs (e.g. assisting private households).

Need your CV checked before the fair? Pop into our Careers Consultants before the fair, either on your own or with some friends, and make sure your CV is selling your skills and experiences most effectively.

Employers in Residence
From Monday 21 May to 4 June, seven employers from a wide variety of sectors including; drama, technology and pr and communications, will be visiting the Careers Centre as part of our Employers in Residence scheme. Some are them are even hiring on the day.

Come along to one of our day-long workshop on campus or Central London events at Senate House which are designed to help you decide what you want to do, narrow your options and guide you through the application process.
Central London events
The all-day events are taking place on Tuesday 17 July and Thursday 6 September and will offer sessions on finding your ideal job, writing the perfect CV and succeeding at interviews. There will also be the opportunity to meet one-to-one with a Careers Consultant throughout each event.
We will reimburse up to £25 worth of receipted public transport travel expenses incurred when attending these events.
