Social scene

You can look forward to a lively social scene

The vibrant social scene is one of the things that makes the student experience at Royal Holloway so special

On your doorstep

There's almost always something going on at the campus whether it's drama in our contemporary Caryl Churchill Theatre, a pool tournament in the Students' Union, a meeting of the Harry Potter society or a non-alcoholic slumber party.

Further afield

Off campus, there's also plenty to keep you entertained from Richmond's parks, galleries and shops to rugby at Twickenham and tennis at Wimbledon. Why not take a picnic to Virginia Water Lake with friends or see a film at Staines? Windsor Great Park is just five minutes' walk away. You can stroll all the way to Windsor – perfect for a day out.

London beckons

All the attractions of one of the world's great capital cities are less than an hour's journey away –  the galleries, the museums, the shops, the bars and nightclubs. Go clubbing with your friends or take a trip to the Royal Academy to see the latest exhibition – the choice is yours.
